Terms of Use

Last updated: May 2026

1. Who we are

GlobalOutageMap is operated by Powerminds, a sole proprietorship registered in the Netherlands (KvK 97879371), based in Teteringen ("Powerminds", "we", "us"). By using GlobalOutageMap (the "Service") you ("you", the "user") agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Purpose of this site

GlobalOutageMap is a curated map of publicly reported status signals about cloud, SaaS and infrastructure activity worldwide. The site is provided for informational purposes only. See our methodology for what a pin does and does not represent.

3. Not an authoritative status source

GlobalOutageMap is not the official status page for any provider.

Always confirm critical status information on the vendor’s own status page before making operational, financial or contractual decisions (escalations, SLA claims, customer comms). Signals here may lag or lead the vendor’s acknowledgement by minutes to hours and may be incomplete, mis-classified or out of date.

4. No warranty

Information on GlobalOutageMap is provided "as is" and "as available". Data may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, mis-classified or out of date. Public surveillance lags by days, weeks or months and reporting coverage varies between countries. We make no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, completeness or fitness for any particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) are disclaimed.

5. Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for any decisions or actions you take based on information shown on this site. By using GlobalOutageMap you accept that the site is a signal-based informational tool and not a source of authoritative truth.

6. No affiliation

GlobalOutageMap is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the providers it tracks or any government body. Where the names of providers or publishers appear, they are used solely to attribute publicly available information.

7. Acceptable use

  • Do not use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purpose.
  • Do not use the site in any way that disrupts, overloads or interferes with its security (including malware, probing or unauthorized scraping).
  • Do not scrape, copy or republish content in a way that misrepresents it as authoritative or infringes our intellectual property.
  • Do not use the site to harass, mislead or alarm others.
  • Do not submit false, defamatory or misleading user content (signal submissions, votes, pin reports). Repeated misuse may lead to account restriction.

7a. Eligibility and minimum age

You must be at least 16 years old to use GlobalOutageMap. By creating a paid subscription you confirm that you are an adult under the law of your country of residence and that you have the capacity to enter into this agreement.

7b. User-generated content & moderation (EU Digital Services Act)

GlobalOutageMap allows registered users to submit signals, vote on alerts and report inaccurate pins. By submitting content you confirm it is lawful, accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that you have the rights to share it.

We may remove, hide, downgrade or correct user content if it is illegal, misleading, violates these Terms, or is consistently flagged by the community. Material decisions are reviewable by a human editor and we will provide a statement of reasons by email where the law requires.

To report illegal or harmful content, please use our notice & action form (DSA art. 16) or email [email protected]. The same address is our single point of contact under DSA art. 11/12 for users and authorities.

7c. Privacy choices for California residents

California residents have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of their personal information under the CCPA/CPRA. On GlobalOutageMap this corresponds to disabling advertising cookies. Use the Cookie settings or Do Not Sell or Share link in the footer at any time, or visit our cookies page.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, name and original content, is owned by Powerminds and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not reverse engineer, resell, redistribute or create derivative works without our written consent. Source material attributed to third-party publishers and authorities remains the property of those parties.

9. Paid plans, payments and refunds

Paid plans (e.g. Pulse Pro) are sold on a subscription basis at the price and billing frequency shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account page; access continues until the end of the paid period.

Payments are processed by Mollie B.V., a regulated Dutch payment service provider. Mollie handles card processing, SEPA mandates and recurring billing on our behalf. Powerminds remains the seller of record and is responsible for customer support, invoicing and refunds.

Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service (including any paid plan) without notice if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, pose a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable use rules. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, governing law) will continue to apply.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Powerminds and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, this site or the information it provides. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to a paid plan is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of the Netherlands, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

13. Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
